The Healing Word Ministry is a national and international missionary ministry reaching out to the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Jesus told His disciples in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”

The Healing Word is a ministry of the Largo Community Church located in Bowie, Maryland, seven miles from Washington, D.C. It was founded by Rev. H. Jack Morris, D. Min, Pastor of the Largo Community Church. This outreach ministry began shortly after the church started in June of 1972, making the Word of God available through media for those unable to go to church and having an open door to our community to come and grow in spiritual maturity freely.
