Understanding the Motivational Gifts found in Romans 12:6-8.  How God works in a believer to shape his perspective on life and motivate his words and actions.

At Largo Community Church, we take our lead from the Bible. Romans 12:5-8 tells us that there are different parts in the Body of Christ. Do you know what your spiritual gifts are? Are you using them to build the body of Christ?  We offer a class that is designed to help each person discover what their spiritual gifts are and how to appreciate others’ gifts.

However, in the study of spiritual gifts it is important to note and helpful to recognize there are three distinction, or categories of spiritual gifts described in the scriptures:

• Ministry Gifts (5) – Ephesian 4:11-13
• Manifestation Gifts (9) – I Corinthians 12:7-10
• Motivational Gifts (7) – Romans 12:5-8

Our focus for this class is to understand the Motivational Gifts of perceiver, server, teacher, exhorter, giver, administrator, and compassion.  Because of God’s grace these gifts shapes how the believer views life, relates to others, and impacts the Body of Christ.[J1]   Spiritual gifts classes are for everyone: inspired new comers, those who seek to contribute to the strength and growth of the local church, and for those who aim to become a mature and effective witness in their spiritual walk.

Through the distribution and networking of spiritual gifts, God has created a system ensuring that (1) every believer has a significant role in the body of Christ and that (2) believers’ work together to accomplish His overall purpose through the power of the Holy Spirit.

 Classes are typically offered twice a year following new members’ classes.
